Landing in Thailand

Every major destination in Thailand has its airport but you can get the cheapest flights to Thailand’s capital city, Bangkok. Bangkok has 2 airports in the city but Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is the main international airport and serves as the gateway to the rest of the country. 

For this itinerary, we will start at Bangkok as this city is the best introduction to Thailand! Upon arrival, you can take a taxi or private pickup to get to your accommodation.

Bangkok: Day 1 & 2

Bangkok is known for its vibrant culture, beautiful temples, delicious food, and bustling streets filled with tuk-tuks and motorbikes. It is a city of contrast where you can enjoy both worlds- traditional and modern.

There are a few ways to travel from Bangkok to Krabi, but the fastest and most convenient way is by taking a flight. There are multiple daily flights available from the Bangkok airports to Krabi International Airport. The flight time is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes and is usually available for a cheap price.

Another way is to take an overnight train or bus journey from Bangkok to Surat Thani, which is about 3 hours away from Krabi by car. From there, you get multiple affordable transport options to reach Krabi.
